Assassin Build Basics

Assassin Build Guide Basics
From my experience with playing Perfect World International, I have found some really off the wall builds.  This applies to all classes.  To some extent I can understand experiments.  But I am not speaking in experiments here.  I am going to provide you with solid and proven Assassin Build Information, to help you create the best Archer that you can.  Below is what I would consider as basic information you will need in order to build your Perfect world Assassin the right way.

Understanding your Assassin
Assassins are a very unique class in perfect world.  And they are fairly new.  In my opinion, they are under appreciated in many ways.  At first glance you see a physical damage dealer, who fights at melee distance, with low HP, and low physical defense, and you may cringe just a little.  I know I did.  But Assassins do have quite a few nice things going for them.  In PvP, I am tempted to say they can be one of the stronger classes.  In PvE, they have a place, but may find limited use in squads.

Soloing as an assassin is not as tricky as people think.  While it is true, you may burn through HP potions, for a while, once you start to really utilize the skills that are provided to an assassin, you will start using less.  It is important to remember that an assassin excels when he or she can hit and run, then hit again and run.

In a Squad, You are there for support.  With skills like wind push you are able to jump from place to place and offer what help you can.  And skills like Bloodpaint can be much appreciated by  Barbarians and Blademasters, a nice little helper with their own HP.  Not to mention skills that can interrupt a mobs channeling, this can be very appreciated by your tank if you are able to master this ability.

Understanding Assassin Statistics
For every level gained, Assassins receive increases in some of their statistics.  HP, and MP being the primary focus here.  For every level Gained, you will receive 26hp and 22mp.   Being a physical class, your MP gain is actually very good.  HP, I would classify as average.

You also receive about 1point to your physical damage for every level gained.  This plays very little into your damage output, but every little bit does count to something.

Dexterity
Assassins rely much on dexterity.  In my mind, I would say it is as important for an assassin to have high dexterity as it is for an Archer.  For every Dexterity point added, you receive 8 accuracy and 6 evasion points.  Although this is not the best, it is pretty good, and being that you will be adding so much Dexterity to your build, your numbers should be very high.  Critical strikes are what you are shooting for, the more the better.

Vitality
I am a believer that Assassins should have some vitality added to their build.  Not too much, but a little will go a long way.  For every Vitality point added, an assassin receives 13 HP.  It’s not the best, but I think it is a necessary evil for this build.

Strength
Strength again, serves no purpose other than to wear the latest gear of your choice, whether that is from your weapon or your armor.  Assassins will wear light armor, so you will be adding about 1 strength point for every level in order to maintain proper gear level.

Magic
Just as with any Physical Damage class, I would not recommend you waste any of your Attribute points by adding magic to your build.  But, for your reference, you receive 11MP for every magic point.

Assassin Gear
Assassins are light armor builds.  It is what makes them tough.  Being a close range melee class, assassins will see a lot of physical attacks, which they have sub par defense for.  But, there really is no option to this, You will not have enough points to use heavy and Arcane is just not even an option.

For ornaments, I would either go with Physical or Evasion.  I like the play on evasion, because you should naturally have high evasion numbers, this will limit the amount of hits you have to absorb.

Your weapon choices is limited to daggers.  Personally I feel this is a failure on Perfect world.  They should have included Claws/fists as a secondary weapon.  I think this would be a perfect fit for Assassins.  And who knows, maybe someday they will.
