How I make coin in Perfect world in 2017

Believe it or not.  I still do play PWI.  I have been playing Perfect World since it was released to the US.  It was about 9 years ago!

But here I am, my playing time is a lot less than it used to be, but my actual time logged into the game is by far way more than it has ever been.  I have a cat shop up and running at all times.  Sometimes I even have two cat shops running, it depends on what I have going on at the time.

-So, that is my first means to income in Perfect World now.  I have two cat shops.  I buy and sell products that people get and people need.  I sell higher than I buy.  I, unfortunately will not say what I sell, but what I will tell you is, location matters most.  If you are going to sell something that is used at a NPC of some sort.  Make sure you set up shop near to that NPC.  And sometimes, if you want to buy that same something for cheap, make sure you set up a different shop in the area most people will have that item.  It can be a slow way to make money sometimes, but I am not into some of the faster ways.  This is tried and true, and I always make money, every single day.

-The second way I make money is with Jolly Jones quests.  I am guessing everyone and their brother already know about this and are abusing it regularly.  My method is this:  I have 5 accounts that I use regularly.  Each one of my accounts have 5 toons.  I have 1 toon that is over lvl 100, and reawakened at least 1 time.  I have one toon that is over 80 but less than 100, and that is the toon I save for catshops.  They are all in their areas, and all I have to do is log them in and set up the shop, when I want to work on that specific item.  Then I have a level 80, a level 70 and a level 60 toon on each account, that I leave at Jones.  This means at the bare minimum I make 110,000 for the level 60, I make 131,000 for the level 70 and I make 158,000 for the level 80 each day for a total of 399,000 per account, or 1,995,000 across the 5 accounts.

Again, this is not get rich quick, but this does add up over time.  Also, I will sometimes do the level 80 grinder Jones quests if nobody is camping on the Advance grinder.  otherwise I do not do all the quests for Jolly Jones.  It takes too much time for too little reward for me.  But, if you want to it will increase your daily income by a lot.

-Sometimes I do FP89 runs for skill books.  This doesn't make as much as it once did, but it has been a way for me to a bunch of books for my toons, along with making some coin along the way.  It helps for sure.

-Nation wars is still a way to make money.  Tokens can be made into items like Seals of war. You can sell these for a nice little profit, if you don't need any of them for yourself.

There are a ton of other ways to make coin inside perfect world, but those are the ones I use.  And I don't use all of them all the time.  Sometimes I just log in the morning to do the Jones quests and turn on the cat shops.  That seems to do just fine for me.

PvP Blademaster Build Guide Series: Part #1

Lower Level Blademaster, under level 60

Today we are starting a eight part series  about Perfect World International PvP Blademaster builds.  This series is going to cover the following areas, and will hopefully be extremely thorough.

The Blademaster is a strong PvP character.  Many feel that archers or assassins are the best choices, others would rather use wizards or mystics.  But I see no better class than a Blademaster.  Not saying a Blademaster is the end-all-be-all for PvP in Perfect World International.  In fact, I have every single character that I toy with occasionally, one on a PvE server and one on a PvP server, and think that every class is capable of both effective PvE and PvP.  In my opinion, success is more dependant upon your personal style and less on the class you choose.  Blademasters happen to be my preferred class and is why I am starting this series with the Blademaster.  That and it will more than likely be one of the longest guides in the bunch.  Being that Blademasters have so many weapon options and skill sets.  It will take place over several parts, in order for me to keep my thoughts in order, and for me to better be able to elaborate on all the intricacies of the character.

That all being said, lets get down to what this Blademaster series is going consist of.

It is going to be as complete a Blademaster PvP guide as I can make.  I will be covering everything.  Attributes, weapons, skills, genies, early levels and end game.  No holding back.  And it is why it will be consisting of so many parts.

This overview is going to cover my principals behind Blademasters.  Many people are now of the mindset that you should use every weapon, and while I do agree, I think that on a PvP server that would result in early level failure, in fact anything below 89, so, that being the case, I am gong to give you two separate builds that become one around level 90, but will require a restat.  What these two builds are is:

Heavy weapon build
Focuses on axes as your primary and sword as a secondary.  This build gives you both paths, axes for group PvP and Territory Wars for those who have a guild that will let you play early, and gives you sword for 1v1 PvP.  Great way to start the game.  Your stats will allow you to use poles but don't do that, its a redundant weapon to axes. The after 89 Guide will bring all the weapons into play.  Although part of the reasoning for me to break this into two separate builds is to allow your character to shine in one or two weapons, it also will allow people who gravitate to a more brute force approach to choose axes and blades early, and later on, after you have become familiar with the class, you will be able to add in new abilities.

Light weapon build
Focuses on poles and fists/claws.  Again you get the AOE of the poles, for group play and grinding and the 1v1 of the claws.  In the series ahead, you will get a better idea of what this will actually mean.  Your primary play will likely be with the pole.  But that will really be determined by your own play style, for those who prefer the quick attack and High DPS of the claws will by all means get a good grasp of what is important for that weapon as well.

Also to come will be a post about general skills and how they should be leveled and when, and this will vary slightly depending on whether you choose a heavy or a light weapon build.  The general attack skills are just that, generalized, but some of those skills play on specific weapons better than others.  In this part of the guide I will also cover all the other skills that are not dependant upon a specific weapon.

And we will talk armor, this will be covered in the weapon build part.  Not in heavy detail prior to the level 89 restat.  But we will cover it.  Mostly discussing bonus attributes that are useful, along with specific items to look for, just in case you have the opportunity to acquire a unique piece.

In the level 89 guide, I will also cover demon/sage.  For PvP I believe this is a no brainer, but I am gonna leave it as a cliff hanger for now, no use in spoiling the suspense.  And for those of you just starting out, you have plenty of time to contemplate the good and bad of either Demon or Sage.

The biggest thing to remember is that this guide is geared towards people who will be primarily building their character for PvP'ing, whether it is 1v1 or group or Territory Wars.  And while any of this is usable in a PvE setting, I am a firm believer that if you are playing PvE, there is no good reason not to prepare for all weapon paths from the beginning.  And would recommend you allocate your attributes accordingly.

Perfect World Cleric for a PvP Server - Part 4

I have not forgotten about this blog!!  Even though I have not had the time to really play Perfect world, and I have been dedicating my time with other writing, I have not abandoned this blog.  In fact, I am here to announce that I have just published my Ultimate Perfect World International Cleric Build Guide.  Whew! That is a mouth full.  Anyway, it is just like my others.  They are a guide geared toward players who are under level 60 or so.  I figure anyone who is over level 60 has a pretty good idea of how to play.  Maybe I am wrong, but that is my belief. 

As for other things.  I still have a lot of plans.  My PvP Cleric is level 60 something-ish.  I have not played in several months though.  So I am not exactly positive on the level.

But, in any case let me do a quick run down of what I have going on with her.  She, like I said is level 60 something.  I have not had a whole lot of run ins with ganking lately.  And what I have run into has been a bit easier to handle.  Unless it is a level 100 Assassin, then I don't even have a chance to react. I'm just dead.  But with people near my level, I have found a cleric a very good PvP class.  The biggest trouble being Barbarians for me.  There is just so much Hp to deal with in a Barbarian, My Mana drains and I start burning the crap out of my charm. 

From personal experience, I have found that blademasters are easy unless they are proficient at stun locking.  That Wizards are really the easiest class I have faced yet, and that Venomasters are not so tough.  Sins and Barbs have given me my most troubles, and I have not yet faced and Seekers or Mystics.  Psychics, I have not decided yet, but seem about the same as wizards. 

I figure when I get up over 80, I will get a better read on how well a Cleric will stack up against other Classes.  I am still PvPing against people who may not have the game experience that I do.  Not me tooting my horn at all, I am not Pro, but I have been around for a while and it takes time for people to deal with human battles, compared to PvE situations.

Spending a Little time with the Earthguard Seeker Class

I was wondering how long it was going to take Perfect World Entertainment to produce another class that I enjoy!  And although, the EarthGuard Seekers are not Blademasters (My favorite Class BTW).  But, I will have to say that they must be a closely related cousin!

So, that being said, there are some differences I would like to cover really quick.  Also, I have created the Basic Perfect World Seeker Guide, on my Bukisa account.

Biggest difference that I noticed when playing the Seeker compared to a Blademaster is the fact that you are pigeon holed into using swords & blades.  While I am not apposed to swords and blades, in fact my first blademaster was spec'd for Swords and blades (This was before I learned the true nature of a blademaster), what I am opposed to is not having a little more option.  Personally, as a side note I would have liked to see them also able to be spec'd for daggers, I think that would have added a unique twist.

But, I am getting side tracked.  With a sword, your base damage is limited, you are very consistent, moderately quick, no real spike damage, and not particularly great damage.  This means you will be spending most of your time relying on skills to offset the basic damage.

This is fine though, because for the most part, a Seekers skills are solid.  And a lot of them pack more than just straight forward damage.  dflkdfk;dlkf;ld.  The biggest negative I see in the seekers skills is a lack of a self heal.  Maybe I am asking for too much, but I feel that this class could use one.

Aside from that.  I can see any real difference between the Seeker and Blademaster.  the base stats are all the same, they are both reap the same benifits from Dex and Vit.  They both are geared to wear heavy and have a good array of AOE's.

All in all, I do believe Perfect World Entertainment hit the mark with this class.  I was originally skeptical about them adding another race to the game.  I thought they were reaching a bit when the added tideborn, even though I have grown to enjoy playing my PvP sin :-).

I still have not given the Mystic a chance yet.  It is on my list of things to do this winter though.  I will spend some time with the class.  And with the Psychic Class, which I have also not given a whole lot of time.  And will report back to you on what I think.

Other than that news.  I will work on a new set of Riding Mount and Flying Mount Guides  Many things have changed since my original, and that will need to be re-evaluated.  I am about half way through my Ultimate Cleric Guide...(That is seriously a very involved guide) and I am still looking for Guest writers here, and new members for my Perfect world Tips website.  The site has sat quiet for some time now, but if I see people joining, I will get it up and running again.

Perfect World Cleric for a PvP Server – Part 3

Back again today with an update to my Perfect World PvP Cleric.  It has, of course been a slow go for me.  Finding the time and energy to actually sit down and play has been a bit tough.  And what I have found is, I am not particularly great at playing a Cleric regularly.  I finally had to break down and Join a Faction.  I was finding it difficult to find people and time to do the things I needed to do.  And Soloing almost anything with any level of difficulty is almost impossible with a Cleric.  At least for me it is.

Where I am right now is Level 38.  I have been running into the common coin/spirit problems Clerics often complain about, so some of my skills I would prefer to have maxed have been left by the wayside.  I have set up permanent Kitty shop residence in order to make enough cash to buy skills, and I have resorted to dumping large amounts of EXP into my Genie in order to catch the skills up to the levels I would like to see them.

And I die occasionally, I have found that I often over estimate my clerics ability to solo mini-bosses.  It is just the nature of things I guess. 

So, This is why I have broken down and joined a faction.  I will not mention the name of such faction, to maintain my annonymity.   But I will say it is a Level 3 with over 100 members.  And I will say that they seem to have enough high level members to allow me to get done what I need to get done.

I still have not completed my FB19.  Not to mention my 29 and soon to be 39.  I am falling behind.  I have been spending most of my time farming, and cleaning up all the old quests I never got around to doing before.

But other than that, life is good.  I have been following a pure build format.  9 magic, 1 strength every other level.  My first few levels I added a couple points into Vitality, but I do still plan to restat that and add it all to magic.  I know some people believe that you should add Vit to a Cleric.  And in many ways I do believe the same, but I am more interested in creating a powerhouse, even at the cost of some survivability.  I was hoping that with my buffs and Heals that I would be able to compensated for that.  In some instances I have.  But I have noticed, I have two mini bosses right now that I just do not have the HP to solo.  Haggist Geslot and Yangshen, both hit too hard and leave me with no chance to heal and deal damage at the same time.

As far as PvP is concerned, I still have not participated so much, other than the occasional Ganking from high levels that is.  I have only been lucky enough to beat one person who tried to Gank me, I am guessing he/she assumed I was a lower level than I was because I was taking care of a quest I should have about 8 levels ago.

Gear wise.  I am using mostly rank gear right at this moment.  I lucked out and manufactured a 3star magic ring, I am forgetting the name but it is a mid 30’s level ring.  And I am using a 2 star Raybender magic sword with magic attack bonuses on it. 

Coming up for the 40’s, I am looking at trying to aquire a Wheel of Fate.  They are way expensive, so we will see how well that works out for me.  Along with manufacturing my level 40 armor. 

I will report back soon.  I am expecting to get my FB19 done tonight.  I am expecting that I will also try to get some of the mini bosses I have left, done tonight also.  We will see how that goes.

Fast leveling in Perfect World

So the title is a little misleading, for some.  Because I have no big secret for leveling faster than anyone else in Perfect World International.  The rules are all the same for everyone.  You need to achieve a certain amount of EXP in order to reach the next level.  And the further you go into the game, the harder it is to reach the next level.

But, what I have found in my time in Perfect World is, people are missing the point here.  The game is based on a Quest/Grind format.  You do quests and you grind on mods in order to improve your EXP.  And what I see from a lot of new players, is a lack of interest in Questing, they want to be "Power Leveled" and the reality of the game is, they have built safeguards in order to limit our ability to power level.  I assume the main reasoning for this is because it is a free game, and the idea of power leveling characters in order to sell accounts in order to make money is seriously frowned upon by Perfect World Entertainment.

So, what can you do to level fast?  Quests.  Do your quests, but not only just do your quests, but do them in a way that is most beneficial to your success.  And how can you do this you may ask? 

When you pick up a new quest that requires you to kill a certain amount of mobs in a certain area.  Make sure you look and see if there is a one-man army quest that coincides.  Meaning a one-man army quest that requires the same mob to be kills x amount of times.  And although the one man army quests do not give you EXP, what they do is give you Reputation.  And reputation is hard to come by. 

On top of that, make sure that you pick up all your drops and you farm the area you are questing.  Pick up every single Herb or Material that you see.  Stockpile as much as you can. 

Because even if you don't use these things, somebody does, they have value.  And that is the name of the game here.  Money.  Because even if you are not willing to invest actual physical dollars into this game.  Your in game currency can be used to Buy Gold/Zen or whatever else it may be called.  And this is where you can actually reap some EXP rewards.

With Gold, or with a large amount of in game coin.  You can by Hyper Stones.  I love Hyper stones, for anyone who knows nothing about them, they are a stone that increases your EXP gain per kill.  And they are stackable.  And while you do have to deal with a cool down period after they are used.  They are well worth the investment for anyone who wants to get there quicker. 

I am in no way affiliated with Perfect World Entertainment, and I make nothing off suggesting to you to use Hyper stones.  In fact, I would not blame anyone for not wanting to spend real cash on a game.  I tend to not spend money.  But I do find other ways to make money for the game.  Through this blog or sites like Swagbucks, I have found a way to make plenty of cash for my gaming time. 

So, what is the real point of this post?

Nothing really, other than to say that there is no great way to level faster.  There are sevices out there that will power level you.  I, in fact have a friend who is trying to get one started.  And if you would like to take a look and see what he is doing, you can check out his Perfect World Power Leveling site.  It is far from complete, but I figure I will offer him up a free plug, because I hope he can do well.  I am not lawyer and I have no idea if this is against Perfect world Rules and Regulations.  It is one of the reasons I have not dove into that racket. But I do know he is not being shady and he does not bot or hack, he simply has a lot of spare time and a lot of in game experience.

Perfect World Cleric for a PvP Server - Part 2

First off I have to hop up on my podium and bitch for a moment! 

I am already sick and tired of the High level Noobs who get enjoyment out of PK'ing the level 30 somethings that are questing on the north side of Archosaur.  It is lame and gutless for the level 70+ characters to even be bothering with level 30 somethings.

Ok,
Let's move on now.  I have freed myself of the hate of these people, now I can get to the primary concern of this post.  And that is My level 36 PvP Cleric.  And how I am progressing with her.  And what I think of her so far, my build statistics and everything else I can think of writing about her.

As you my know from my previous post.  I am building this Cleric as a pure build.  9 Mag, 1 Str every other level.  Recently I have been dumping a bit of my EXP into my Genie, mostly to limit leveling speed and to actually catch some of my skills up.  Spirit has been a HUGE problem.  As of right now, I am lucky to keep primary skills like Plume Shot, Great Cyclone and Ironheart up to current.  Let alone any of the VERY useful buffs that come with being a Cleric.

As far as leveling, I have been primarily questing and occasionally grinding, mostly in order to build up a surplus of drop materials in order to generate some income with the character.  That and to make sure I keep my manufacturing up to date also. 

Damage output is solid, I would like it higher, I am getting close to biting the bullet and restating my VIT.  to squeeze that last little drop out of her.  Currently I am averaging about 1400 HP damage on mobs with Plume Shot, Great cyclone averages a bit less, more like 1000. 

As far as PvP.  So far I have not really participated in PvP.  I don't think I would do all that well.  I do believe that once I am able to get my skills caught up, I will be much more effective.  But until then I will probably keep PvP to a minimum.  Other that the constant PK I am getting from the high levels.

So, I will keep plugging away.  I am hoping to break 40 in the next few days.  I am expecting that after I break 50 I will start a new class character.  But will keep you all informed about what I have learned.

Perfect world Cleric for PvP server

I have always stayed away from PvP with clerics.  I had always viewed them as a support class only and really didn't look at them as a class that really can be overly effective in PvP.  But, being that I am wiping the slate with my old characters and starting fresh this winter, I figured I would give a Cleric on PvP a whirl and see what I come up with.

Generally speaking, I am not a real active PvP'er to begin with, I don't go looking for fights.  It is not really my thing.  It's a big part of the reason I have spent a big portion of my Perfect world life on PvE.  But, this year, my intentions are to have one character on every server, and one of every class.  So, my first character of the season is a cleric.  I put her on a PvP server, and this is where she stands.

Generally I am going with a pure build.  I did slip 5 points into Vit.  But after playing, I am thinking I am gonna restat to 3 vit and put that all into Mag.  Mostly because my damage is really close to being able to finish mobs in two hits and I do believe the extra few points will get me there.  I really have not run into any survivability issues.  But I have to admit I am always charmed, mostly for convenience.  I currently have a platinum Mp and a bronze HP.  The Hp charm is highly annoying, because of the low vit, I have been burning it up like crazy, and it is mostly due to the fact that I have not got heal timing down, I am casting heal just as the charm ticks.  so, after I use up this charm I may roll with no HP for a bit and see how things go.

Currently I am only level 28.  really close to 29.  So I have not tried my hand at any PvP.  I am pretty sure that once I break 30, I will give it a whirl.

As far as skills.  I set priorities as follows.

Plume Shot
Great Cyclone
Iron Heart
Vanguard Spirit
Other Buffs
Razor Feathers
Wellspring Surge

But Due to Spirit issues, I am only able to keep the top 3 maxed consistently.  And the others tend to run a level or two late.  I also have revive, and Thunderball....

I find Thunderball Useless


Hopefully over the next week or so I will be able to find some more playing time.  I am in the middle of some computer maintenance at home.  Once I am set.  I will be attempting to Run Perfect World on Ubuntu.  It is a new one for me though, so it may become a complete failure.  We will see.

Earning Zen for better Game play

Today we are going to go in a slightly different direction for this blog post.  Since I have begun to play Perfect World International again, I find myself wanting Zen/Gold, in order to buy some fun stuff.  Problem is, I am generally pretty tight about spending money on a game.  Hence the reason for me to be playing a free to play game.

But, being the tight ass that I am.  I decided it was time to try to find ways to make some Game gold, or Zen or whatever you want to call it, without actually investing any real money.

And leave it to me to find a couple of options for all of you out there who feel the same as I do.  I have found two outlets that will award you Ultimate game cards if you complete offers.  Mostly the offers are free, and they don't take a crazy amount of time to complete, which is always a bonus when you want to get back into the game, and purchase yourself some fresh new threads.

So, you want to know what I have for your?  They are the banners below.  Now both sites are going to give you points and with those points you have the ability to purchase the Ultimate Gaming cards.  The first one is not a quick fix, but it is super easy.  And that is Swagbucks.  Swagbucks is a search engine that awards you random points for using their search engine to do general searches.  I have won one Ultimate gaming card with swagbucks.  It is only a $5 dollar card.  But I was able to get this card by doing something I do every single day anyway!!

You dont have to just pick an Ultimate gaming Card.  They have a whole store you can choose items from.  I have also got a couple Amazon Gift cards using them.

I use the Ultimate Gaming cards to puchase my Zen.  They are an aceptable method in ordering Zen.  And they are more popular gifts than the actual Perfect world Gaming Cards.

I have been super pleased to see that people have actually been using the Swagbucks. I was not sure how well my readers would take to the idea of performing tasks in order to make some free Zen, or free gaming cards or free paypal gift cards or whatever else you may be into. Perfect World International Tips is alive and kicking

With summer quickly coming to an end, I will once again be getting ready for another winter of perfect world international.  I try to give myself a break from the game during the summer months.  Just to clear my head and actually spend some time outside.

So, for my first post of the new gaming season, I was hoping to run through some of the recent patch updates and give my take on some of them…But they are critically boring to me.  Seems that not a whole lot has changed since I played last.  This is not a huge surprise, but I was hoping for more.

Now, these are the ones I can think of, Some are not active, some are deleted.  Mostly I am very random and will just play the character that interests me at the moment.  Under normal conditions, I will not write a guide about skills and game play until I have a gotten a character class past level 60.  I know I am not uber, I have no level 99’s I am currently playing, but I do have a lot of time in game with a lot of different situations, in guilds, out of guilds as guild leaders and as nothing but a solo.

I have participated in PvP, in Territory wars, in hundreds of FB’s for all levels you can think of, I have done DQ’s, Mold runs, WQ’s and bounty hunter stuff…

I am basically saying I have been around.  And I am not just pulling this stuff from thin air.  I have tried and practiced and asked LOTS of questions.  And I am still always asking questions and looking for other people’s feedback.  So, please feel free.

Hopefully over the next few months I will be more active here.  I still want to spend time talking about builds, farming, manufacturing, Demon/Sage choices and Questing stuff, so, look for me. 

I also want to throw this out there.  I am looking for anyone who may want to write a post here.  This blog sees about 100 page views a day and has solid traffic.  So, if you have a blog, or any other thing that is related to Perfect world and would like to make some new people aware of you, I would love to hear from you.  Being that I have a lot of other projects on the Internet besides this one, I do not always have the time to write here and would love for more content from other Perfect worlders. Hello Perfect Worlders!

I hope all is well in your perfect world today.  I am here just to give you an update about Perfect World International Tips.

As far as the new website is concerned.  I have a perfect world blog there that I will incourage my members to contribute to if they would like.  The forums are up and running and I would love to see some people begin to add questions and their own personal guides there.  There is a section for Photos, and there is a guides section.  The guides section is a group of links that will take you to the perfect world guides I have created so far.

In order for me to make Perfect world Tips successful, I need help from you, the readers, to help me determine what kind of information you are all looking for.  I am sure you have questions about Psychics and Assassins or the best Blademaster builds, or maybe you have Farming Questions.  Whatever it may be I am more than willing to help.

Big Changes in the world of Perfect World International TIPs!!!

Hello all loyal Viewers!

Today I am here to announce that I am beginning the migration of all my blog data to a new home.  It seems that the blog format does not lend itself well to what I am trying to accomplish sooooo.  I am here to announce that I will be slowly moving to Perfect World Tips. 

Although there is still a lot of work to get done before the move is complete, please feel free to check it out.  Join if you want and start adding content to the forums.  All are welcome.

Perfect World International Blog - Brief Notes

I do want to apologize for my lack of posting lately.  I would like to receive some feedback from my readers.  I would really like to know what they would like to learn from the Perfect World International Blog.  I am of course still committed to getting the guides all completed, but as far as filler information to help you all get along while I am working, please give me some ideas.  Along the side of the blog you will see a poll I am starting.  Please Vote.  And if you do not see anything over there that interest you, please comment here, or send me an email at pwisam01@gmail.com.

Quest Guides list

Another formatting update to talk about.  Quest guides are going to be published on another site as well as the ultimate character guides.  If you check out my Quest Guides List, you will see what my plans are and what quest guides I have complete so far.

Between these and the rest of the Ultimate Character Guides, I will be pretty busy.  That means I will probably not be posting regularly, only to announce when I get some complete.

Perfect World International Character Guides

Well, I am back again with some updates on the Perfect world Character Guides.  You might notice the new tabs at the top of the sheet.  I have added basic build guides for all the classes on the blog.  Assassin Basic Build, Archer Basic Build, Barbarian Basic Build, Blademaster Basic Build, Cleric Basic Build, Psychic Basic Build, Venomancer Basic Build and Wizard Basic Build.

I have done this out of Demand I guess you might say.  It seems that most of the people that find this blog, do so by searching for build Guides, so, I figured I would give you what you want.  Now it does come at a cost.  They are not very in depth, I am making more detailed guides on my HubPage account.  I like the layout there, and it gives me some better traffic, because Hubpages are a naturally strong content site.  I am also going to be relocating all Quest Guides.  Currently, I have the Human Quest Guide, Level 1-19 relocated here. 

I am also listening to requests.  If there is information you would like me to get and put up for all to see, please feel free to contact me at pwisam01@gmail.com.

I do appreciate all the people who do stop by and see what I have here and hope that the changes I am implementing will only bring more.  While I do not have as much time to actually play the game, I am continuing my research and I will try to provide you with the best information I can.

Flying Mounts Part 3 - Elf Flying Mounts

Cash shop Flying Mounts are a luxury, not all of us are able to enjoy, they are kind of expensive, and lets face it, we are given a free flying mount from the beginning, why should we spend money on one of them fancy set of glitter wings?  Ok, so, maybe some of you out there don't really think that way, some of you like the status and the looks you get when you are flying on your Uber expensive wings.  So, for all of you out there who are in the market for a new set of wings, you have come to the right place.

Just like the riding mounts, let's find out what flying mounts give you the best bang for your buck.

Since there are so many flying mounts available in the game, I thought it would be best to break this down into individual races.  Today we are going to cover the Elf Flying mounts.  The biggest difference in this article, from the Riding mount comparison is, we are not going to include appearance scores.

For scoring the flying mounts, I am going to use cost, minimum speed, haste speed and minimum levels that the mount is available.  So, lets get started then!!

Blood Mist (1)

Blood mist are the economy wings at $5.00.  They have a bummer of a speed at 1.0 and a 3.0 haste and they are available at level 30.  Personally, I think they look really cool.  The bat wings are a really good look.  It’s too bad they are so slow, but, even with the speed, the price makes them #1 in the comparison.  And I would consider them a decent buy.

Glory (8)

Glory on the other hand are a big bomb.  Even though they only Cost $7.5, and the speed is faster than the Blood Mist wings, at 1.5 and 3.5 haste.  The minimum level of 50 kills them.  Not to mention they are not really cool looking, I would not even consider these as an option in my mind.

Glitter Flaps (3)

Glitter flaps are a good buy at $10.00.  Speeds are still not exciting, at 1.5 and 3.5 haste, minimum level of 30 though, makes these a good buy.  Biggest problem is, they are girl wings.  They are black and blue butterfly wings, and I would think it would be kinda funny to see a dude elf sporting a pair of these.

Wings of Daedalus (5)

At $17.50, the Wings of Daedalus are starting to get a little pricey, but not too bad.  And with a speed of 2.0 and haste of 4.0, they are a little more speedy than the ones before it.  With a minimum level of 30.  These are ok wings to buy.  I think that the looks of these wings are really good.  They almost look like a bunch of swords instead of feathers.

Watcher of the Skies (9-tie)

Unfortunately the watcher of the skies gets horrible marks.  At $25.00, and a speed of 2.5 and 4.5 haste you would think they would score higher, but these, along with sparkle bright suffer from a minimum level of 50.  If I were giving them appearance points though, they would score really high, I think they are one of the best looking wings available for the Elf class, for both guys and girls.

Sparkle Bright (9-tie)

Again, Sparkle bright falls into a last place tie with Watcher of the skies.  With a $25.00 price tag, 2.5 speed and 4.5 haste and a minimum level of 50, statistically, they just don’t cut it.  And with Glitter flaps looking very similar for less than half the cost, I can’t even tell you to buy these based upon their looks.  Don’t get me wrong they look nice, but….Fail in my mind.

Seraphic Mist (2)

All I can say is wow.  At $25.00 these may be the best buy on elf wings.  They have the same speeds as the two last place wings.  2.5 and 4.5 haste, but a minimum level of 20.  They look really good too.  They may be a little more geared toward the femail character, but I think guys could probably get away with a set of these.

Phoenix’s Embrace (4)

Phoenix embrace comes in at $30.00.  They have a speed of  3.0 and a haste of 5.0.  And the minimum level is 20.  These are a solid buy also.  Some may find them to be a bit too colorful.  But appearance and statistics would put this in the upper half of choices I would think.  The $30.00 is a bit steep, but, if you have the cash to burn you may like these.

Dark Night (7)

Dark night will cost you $40.00.  They are fast, with a 3.0 speed and a 6.0 haste, and they are available at level 30.  But the cost is just too high.  They are some of the better looking wings.  But just too expensive for what you get.

Iridescense (6)

Iridescense are the most expensive wings, at $50.00.  With that, you do get the highest speeds, of 3.2 and 6.2 haste.  And they are available at level 10.  But still they are pretty steep.  They remind me of a jazzed up set of Phoenix embrace, so, that may be a cheaper alternative to these wings.

So, choose wisely and you can be riding in style.  I hope you find this post helpful in your choices.  Good luck and good gaming to all!

Spotted Skymanta (#1)

Amazingly The Spotted Skymanta came in first.  It is really due to the cost.  At $5.00, it is the cheapest Untamed Flying mount, but at 1.0 speed and 3.0 haste, it is also the slowest of the mounts.  Minimum level is 30, which seems to be a very normal level for availability.  This is a truly economy ride, if you can maybe find it in the Auction House for cheap, it might be a decent upgrade over your standard manta.

Skymanta Shade (#7)

Level was the main reason for bringing the Skymanta shades score down.  It is a slightly more expensive mount compared to the Spotted Skymanta, at $7.50, and with that you get a slightly faster speed at 1.5 with haste being 3.5, but the minimum level is 50.  I like the look of this manta, and I might consider it the best looking manta in the bunch, but, is that really worth the level 50 min?

Redback Skymanta (#3)

This manta scored better than the Shade Manta, soley because of minimum level.  Costing $10.00, and having the same speeds as the Skymanta Shade, at 1.5 and 3.5 haste, it was able to pull ahead so much because of the level 30 minimum.  I may place too much value on the minimum level, but people really don’t want to wait till level 50 to use their mounts, and buying a widget….blug I say!

Israfel (#5)

The Israfel is a ok buy.  At $17.50, you get a 2.0 speed with a 4.0 haste speed, and a minimum level of 30.  But here is the catch….You have to ride a Swan, or Goose, or whatever you want to call it.  This may be more of a Veno flying mount, I do not want to see my trusty tank flying around on a turkey….I mean swan.

Swift Shadow (#8)

The swift shadow is one of three mounts that sell for $25.00.  It has a speed of 2.5 and a haste of 4.5, which are nice, but, a minimum level of 50.  The stats and cost are the same as the Crimson Flametalon, creating a tie for eighth place.  It is kinda cool to look at, being a big black bird and all, but it’s not the best looking in my mind.

Crimson Flametalon (#8)

Like the Swift Shadow this mount sells for $25.00.  It’s speed is 2.5 and its haste is 4.5, and the minimum level is also 50.  These two mounts are, in my mind the lesser buys you can get, unless you really like the looks, I would probably stay away from them.

Hellfire Drake (#2)

The Hellfire Drake is the same price as the two eighth place flying mounds, at $25.00, and its speeds are the same too, 2.5, and 4.5 haste.  But it has a minimum level of 20.  This locks it up into second place, and in my opinion, the best buy for the untamed.  Not only are the stats good.  But it is a really the coolest looking Untamed mounts…..Really?  It’s a two headed dragon, how much better can it be really?  All it needs to do is to be able to eat other players in PvP.

Cloudchasing Gryphon (#4)

The Cloudchasing Gryphon is another very cool looking mount.  It is $30.00.  It has good speed at 3.0 and 5.0 haste, and a minimum level of 20.  Definitely a solid choice if you are willing to spend the cash.  It is a little rich for my blood, but statistically, it scores well.

Waning Cloud (#6)

The Waning cloud is $40.00.  It is basically a turbo charged version of Israfel.  With speeds of 3.0 and 6.0 haste, it is technically the fastest untamed mount available.  It has a minimum level of 30.  But, again, it is a big goose!  Can’t do it, sorry.

Colossal Dragonfly (#9)

The Colossal dragonfly is cool.  It is seriously overpriced at $50.00.  And with speeds of 3.0 and 5.0, is not even the fastest untamed flying mount.  On top of that, it has a minimum level of 50.  But, it really is cool.  I like big ass bugs.

So, there you have it.  The Untamed Flying mounts.  I hope this helps you in your quest for air supremacy.  Good luck and good spending.

I know it has been some time since I have posted here on this Perfect world Blog.  It is because I have been working on build guides, and on the Quest Guides.  But I have not forgotten about this blog.  Look for a new post about Flying mounts in the next day or so, I am going to cover the Untamed Flying Mounts next. 

So, be on the look out.  As of right now, Human quests 1-19 are about 98% complete. I am having a little formatting issues with Blogger.com so am not able to complete them until I can get that finished.  But, I will begin Untamed quests 1-19 also, probably right after I finish this quick post

Flying Mounts Part 1 - Human Flying Mounts

Since there are so many flying mounts available in the game, I thought it would be best to break this down into individual races.  Today we are going to cover the human Flying mounts.  The biggest difference in this article, from the Riding mount comparison is, we are not going to include appearance scores.  My feeling is, I can't really tell the difference between mounts, so, unless your flying of the rose gold gourd, I am oblivious to the appearance of your mount.

For scoring the flying mounts, I am going to use cost, minimum speed, haste speed and minimum levels that the mount is available.  So, lets get started then!!

Pachscar's Spite (#1)

Pachscar's Spite is the lowest cost flying mount, at $5.00, but with that it is also the slowest mount you can buy in the cash shop.  Although it is faster than the Standard P.O.S you get at level 30, its not a huge increase, at 1.0, and a whopping 3.0 haste.  The sword IS available at level 30 though. It is kinda blue and shiny.  It's not a bad looking flying mount, and for the price, is decent.  But the speed is a huge bummer.

Rashnu (#7)

Rashnu is the next most cheapest mount at $7.50, this is a sound buy. With speeds of 1.5 and 3.5 haste, you get a little speed out of this. Still not enough for my taste, and on top of that, it is not available until level 50. It looks similar to Pachscar's but also has a green swirly thing.

Yofial's Star (#3)

Yofial's Star is $10.00, so, what do you get for that? You get the same stats as you do with Rashnu, the 1.5 and the 3.5, but the minimum level is dropped to 30.  I do like the look of this mount though. It looks like it is ablaze in electricity.

Nakir's Judgement (#5)

Nakir's Judgement is a big flaming poky stick, it is $17.50, its speeds are 2.0 and 4.0 haste speed.  it is also available at leel 30. this is a solid buy in my mind.

Daevas (#9)

Daevas is in a group of 3 riding mounts that all go for $25.00.  The initial speed s 2.5 and haste speed is 4.5.  Available at level 50,  would call Daevas a girl's riding mount.  No real reason, is just looks like it to me.  I would not make fun if I saw a Dude riding it though.

Zuriel's Blade (#2-tied)

Zuriel's is number two in the $25.00 group.  Same speeds as Daevas at, 2.5 and 4.5 haste.  Available at level 20, Zuriels blade is the flying mount that looks like a gold flying sword with a bunch of prongs off the back end of it.  It is gold and has little gold swirly things.

Laila's Heart (#2-tied)

Laila's Heart is number 3 in the $25.00 group.  Same speeds as the other two at 2.5 and 4.5 haste.  Laila's heart is finally something that looks unique.  Resembling a claw instead of a sword.  I give it credit for that.  It is available at level 20 also.

Urim's Light (#4)

Urim's light goes for $30.00 in the cash shop.  It is pretty pricey.  But a very nice looking flying mount, very wide and BIG.  Green lights.  It has a speed of 3.0 which is really good and its haste speed is 5.0.  It is available at level 20.

Astral Melody(#8)

Astral Melody is deffinately a girl flying mount.  It is big, it is purple and it is curvy.  It is nice to look at, but at $40.00 is the second most expensive Human Flying Mount.  It has a speed of 3.0 and haste of 6.0, so it is very fast, and it is available at a minimum level of 30.

Rose Gold Gourd(#6)

God I think this thing is aweful.  I do not know how it got thrown into the mix with the other human flying mounts, but think it is rather shameful.  It is also the most expensive mount at $50.00.  But, on the other side.  It is the fastest at 3.2, and haste of 6.2.  And on top of that, available at level 10.  So, it does have those things going for it.  And if you can get past the idea of flying a veggie, have at it.

So, there you go, Human Flying mounts Compared.  I hope this helps you in your Perfect World International, Quest for air supremacy.

Perfect world International Character Class Build Guides

When I started this blog, I didn’t really know what I was going for.  I figured I would just use it to talk about my time playing perfect world.  But what I noticed, when I really started thinking about it all.  Was, when I search the internet for information about Perfect world international, I sometimes have a very difficult time finding anything.  I know that this is not due to lack of interest in the game, but just a lack of people willing to share information about the game.  And one of the Biggest Questions I see is about Character Builds and guides for building the best character, whether that is a Wizard or Blademaster, Asassin or Venomancer, Everyone wants to make sure they are building their characters properly.  You all want to make sure you are allocating your Attribute points properly, or using the best weapon for your class, or Genie skills.  It is all very subjective, but I wanted to provide you with rock solid tips on building your own perfectworld Character.

I am placing my guides in many locations, and I have started a new website, it is called Perfect World International Tips.  The web site has a blog, and a forum and a location with all my external guides and build guides.  It is very young and I am still trying to build membership, but I can promise you that any question asked will get my personal attention in a very quick fashion.

I hope that these guides give you some good insight into the inner workings of your perfect world Character.  And while I try to show you all possible variables in building a perfect world character, I will try not to tell you that there is only one way to build your character, because there is not, there are many different methods that can be used to build any of the perfect world classes and a lot will depend on what it is you are trying to accomplish.
