Barbarian Build Basics

Barbarian Build Guide Basics
From my experience with playing Perfect World International, I have found some really off the wall builds.  This applies to all classes.  To some extent I can understand experiments.  But I am not speaking in experiments here.  I am going to provide you with solid and proven Barbarian Build Information, to help you create the best Barbarian that you can.  Below is what I would consider as basic information you will need in order to build your Perfect world Barbarian the right way.

Understanding your Barbarian
Barbarians are considered a melee class damage dealer, and are the single most reliable tanks in the game of perfect world.  As a Barbarian you will have to get used to the fact that very early on you will miss your target often and your damage will be less than desirable.  This is offset by the fact that barbarians have the highest level of natural HP.

In a solo setting, Barbarians are adequate.  They are not nearly as good a solo class as a Venomancer or Blademaster, but, their high levels of HP.  In my opinion, I feel that a Barbarian Solo's better in humanoid form.  Humanoid form has higher damage levels, at the loss of your HP bonuses, but with your naturally high HP levels, regular questing and mob battle, it is not needed.

In a squad setting, A Barbarians primary task is that of tank.  In True form, the Barbarian has a substantial HP bonus, and a physical resistance bonus.  Along with a group buff that increases HP even more.  Damage that a Barbarian is capable of inflicting matters less because your group will have others who are there for the sole purpose of damaging mobs.  A barbarian is there to grab mobs aggro and hold I.  Keeping everyone else alive while he takes the brunt of all the damage.

Understanding Barbarian Statistics
For every level gained, Barbarians receive increases in some of their statistics.  HP, and MP being the primary focus here.  For every level Gained, you will receive 34hp and 14mp.  This gives a barbarian a naturally high HP level and a very low MP level.  As a barbarian, I suggest both HP and MP charm.  I do believe that mostly you will not need them.  If you use Focus Powder and Life Powders while soloing you will almost never need your charms. They will really only be needed during Squads, when your in tank mode.  The charms become your last resort.  You will probably be able to make bronze charms last or a very long time

You also receive 1 point to your base physical attack, there are a few levels you will receive 2 points, but the effect is minimal and not really critical to consider.

Dexterity
As a Barbarian, Vitality will always be the most important thing to your build.  But wait! Dexterity plays a role.  Something to consider is, you will most likely not be tanking anything before level 50.  Meaning, early levels is an excellent time to add extra dexterity to the mix.  Adding 1 point of dexterity, gives you an additional 8 points of accuracy and 8 points of evasion.

Vitality
Vitality is most important.  As a barbarian you can never have enough HP, and with that, every spare point you have should go into Vitality.  As with all my builds, I believe you should always build on your characters strengths, and Vitality is a barbarians strength.  And they receive 17 HP for every vitality point added, That is more than any other class.  Add that to their high regeneration rates and you have a tank!

Strength
Strength for a Barbarian is critical for one reason only.  Axes are the only weapon that they are able to use.  This mean you will need to add 3 strength points per level just to keep up with the axe requirement, but, as with any class, strength serves no other real purpose, other than to carry the latest weapons for your level.  And that is pretty important.

Magic
Never, never, never add magic to your barbarian.  It is wasted points, and will only damage your overall build, taking away valuable vitality points.  You have no magic attack, and it only adds 7 mp per Magic point added.  Focus powder or MP potions or charmed of course will be more than enough to supply your MP.

Barbarian Gear
Barbarians are always going to wear Heavy Armor.  With your physical Defense multiplier in tiger form, this offers the highest benefits.  And with your high HP there should be no need to use any other armor, and you probably will not be statistically capable of wearing any other armors.

Ornaments can be Elemental though, they give you a little addition to your elemental defenses at very little cost of your physical defenses.  I would say this is acceptable, but not required.

Weapons will always be Axes.  It is the only weapon a barbarian can use with their skill tree.  Axes also offer the flexibility of not having very high dexterity.  Leaving more points available for Vitality.  It makes a barbarian build fairly straight forward.
